Financing built around your goals — not one lender’s product list.
I’m Aaron Edwards, an independent mortgage broker. I work with homebuyers, homeowners, veterans, investors, and business owners. Because I’m a broker and not a bank, I can take your file to the lender that actually fits it.
Three ways people come to me
Most conversations start in one of these three places. Pick the closest one — we'll sort out the details on the call.
Buying a home
First home, next home, or new construction. Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, jumbo, and renovation financing — including options for self-employed and complex income.
Start a pre-approval →Refinancing
Lower the payment, pull equity out, drop mortgage insurance, consolidate debt, or shorten the term. VA homeowners: ask about the IRRRL.
Book 30 minutes →Investing & commercial
DSCR and portfolio financing for rental property. SBA, bridge, and multifamily through RCE Capital’s commercial division.
See commercial →A bank has one menu. I have a network.
I’ve worked all three sides of this — big bank, retail lender, and now independent broker. When a bank tells you no, that’s the end of the conversation. When a lender in my network says no, I take the file down the hall.
Your file goes where it fits
Through Barrett’s wholesale platform I work with a broad network of lenders. Different lenders price and underwrite differently — that difference is the whole job.
Complicated isn’t a problem
Self-employed, bank statement income, asset depletion, gift funds, boarder income, non-QM. If the file needs structure, that’s the interesting part.
You talk to me
Not a call center, not a queue. I answer the phone, I explain the tradeoffs in plain language, and I show up at the closing table.
I didn’t serve. My family did. Helping veterans use the benefit they earned is a real part of this practice.
Most veterans I talk to are using a fraction of what’s available to them — and most listing agents still believe things about VA offers that stopped being true years ago.
Eleven reviews. All five stars.
From first-time buyers and from the realtors who send them.
“As a realtor, I’ve worked with many lenders, but Aaron stands out above the rest. He guided me through what was hands down the most difficult transaction of my career... He even shows up to the closing table.”
“As first-time homebuyers, my spouse and I walked into the mortgage process feeling nervous and overwhelmed. Working with Aaron changed everything. He truly humanized the experience from start to finish.”
“Aaron did an excellent job explaining everything and always kept us informed of what task needed to be completed next. He always kept us updated on what step of the process was next.”
